The patient presented with a chief complaint of severe muscle and joint pain. She had orthodontic treatment three times and did not feel comfortable chewing or smiling.
A comprehensive dental evaluation was performed. A reconstructive diagnostic plan was developed offering various treatment options. Each option and associated consequence was presented and discussed.
The patient selected an interdisciplinary treatment plan with orthodontics, oral surgery, periodontal surgery, endodontics and complex prosthodontics reconstruction.
