The patient presented with a chief complaint of which she referred to as “slow-motion” erosion. She was losing a tooth every few years and did not want to lose anymore.
Following an extensive dental work up, treatment options and consequences were discussed and full mouth reconstruction was completed. The patient had combined interdisciplinary treatment including periodontics, endodontics, and both functional and esthetic prosthodontic reconstruction.
The patient commented that not only did her teeth function better and enhanced her smile, but was told how much younger she looked following her dental treatment. In effect, she had a dental mid-face lift without having to experience plastic surgery.
